How does the recipient receive the payment?

How the recipient receives funds depends on the transfer method and their setup:

Tap to Transfer – Samsung Cash User: If the recipient has a Samsung Cash card, they will receive a notification when the transfer is complete, and funds will be credited to their Samsung Cash card within a few minutes.

Tap to Transfer – Non-Samsung Cash / Debit Card: The recipient holds their phone back-to-back with the sender's phone or presents a contactless debit card. Once the tap is recognized and the transaction is approved, funds are transferred to the bank account linked to their debit card.

Online Transfer: Funds are sent to the recipient's bank account connected to their Samsung Cash card in Samsung Wallet. If the recipient has not yet set up a Samsung Cash card, they will receive a message prompting them to add one before funds can be delivered.

In all cases, delivery typically takes a few minutes.
